Non Traditional Spices Grounded

We all love Indian food with mixture of Indian Spices and their subtle flavors.

Aniseed Ground (Tierra de anís)

Aniseed is a warm licorice-tasting seed that is harvested from an annual plant with flat, feathery leaves and white, late summer blooming flowerheads. Be careful not to confuse aniseed with star anise, which is harvested from a tree that is native to China.

Food Color Yellow (Color de comida amarillo)

Coloring ingredients include natural colors, derived primarily from vegetable sources and sometimes called vegetable dyes; inorganic pigments; combinations of organic and metallic compounds ; and synthetic coal-tar substances.

White Pepper (Pimienta blanca)

White pepper is often used in dishes that need a peppery bite but where you don’t want black flecks, such as in white sauces and potato dishes. In Chinese cuisine, ground white pepper is used to add flavor to soups, marinades for meat and poultry, and spicier stir-fries.
