Indian and International Herbs

We all love Indian food with mixture of Indian Spices and their subtle flavors.

Basil (Albahaca)

Basil, also called great basil, is a culinary herb of the family Lamiaceae. Basil is native to tropical regions from central Africa to Southeast Asia. It is a tender plant and is used in cuisines worldwide.

Laurel Leaves (Hojas de laurel)

Fresh or dried bay leaves are used in cooking for their distinctive flavor and fragrance. The leaves should be removed from the cooked food before eating.

Oregano leaves (Hojas de orégano)

Oregano is related to the herb marjoram, sometimes being referred to as wild marjoram. Oregano has purple flowers and spade-shaped, olive-green leaves. It is a perennial, although it is grown as an annual in colder climates, as it often does not survive the winter.

Peppermint (Menta)

Menthol is the main active ingredient in peppermint and is the reason for its ability to help clear congestion and help make breathing easier.
